Trying to Break the Drought: Cleveland Indians Books

Cleveland has become the unfortunate whipping boy of the sports world. The irrelevance of the Browns and the incompetency of Tom Berenger’s Club in Major League, “at least we’re not Cleveland” rings strongly everywhere throughout the United States. But the times are starting to change. Lebron finally brought a championship to the city, the Browns look dangerous for the first time since the 80s, and Kluber, Lindor, Carrasco, and Ramirez look ready to end the current longest World Series drought. And you’ve gotta give it to Cleveland fans, they are dedicated; confirmed by the plethora of books written about the team. I was shocked at the shear number of Indians books covering all topics, spanning topics from the 1948 World Series Winner all the way to the teams that dominated the 1990s at the Jake. There is something for everyone here, in this underrated treasure trove of literature.
